During pregnancy, clothing and morning sickness can be a pain to handle.Expecting mothers sometimes receive passed over maternity clothing from friends or relatives, but the majority are often needing to get new clothes and spend lots of money on them even though they will only be using them for a couple of weeks due to the fast speed at which their belly grows. But what if you don't have someone who can pass over their old maternity clothes to you or to pass over your clothes to? This leads to great amounts of waste which causes the fashion industry to be one of the most unsustainable.
How can new maternity clothing fit expecting mother’s needs for comfortable, sustainable and soothing clothing and provide them with other options apart from purchasing?
Providing expecting mothers a clothing line made from sustainable materials, with incorporated smart technology to monitor health and release essential oil fragrances to reduce nauseas, stress and headaches, and a service that allows the buying, renting, exchanging or donating of maternity clothes.

Behind the scenes
Developing Systematic Thinking
Bloom is a platform which implemented almost every aspect of the renovation products and services, but none of the features are standing alone features. Each element is connected to another part of the entire experience. For me, it was essential to understand how all of these features up-sell another, to create an ecosystem to each unique individual.
The challenge here was that it was hard to pinpoint where in the flow I precisely wanted to focus on because each feature seemed to carry a lot of weight.
Identifying the problem, with the user
I believed that finding the right problem and identifying the opportunity on how to design and better the current flow was crucial. For me, with the challenge I faced mentioned above, it was hard to focus on one feature and required me to think about the entire ecosystem.
I realized the power of bringing users earlier on into this process, to see their perspectives, which I was then able to gain insight of how different user groups ( expert, and potential user) saw the same feature/flow.
